3rd Interventional Radiologist sought for stable large group of 25 radiologists serving 1750 beds and their new fully owned clinic. The practice serves 7 hospitals of which 3 provide IR. Most recent hospital was built in 1998. Due to their regional hospital coverage there is flexibility on where you want to live and work. Nighthawk 10 pm to 7 am – with evening call almost entirely from home. Dedicated angio/IR room with digital Philips Integris ceiling mount C-arm and tilt table. Must be comfortable doing diagnostic radiology when not performing IR. Expect to do 75%IR / 25% diagnostic radiology, including full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures extending through to TIPS and working with vascular surgery on covered grafts. Back up provided by 2 CAQ'd IR's. Partner vacation is 10 weeks per year and Interventionalists provide 13 weekends of call per year.

First year income for Interventionalists is $290K+, one year to Partner and then increasing to $350K+ inclusive of retirement benifits. Family health benefits of $12K, and California malpractice of $35K are also provided. Expense account of $2500 the first year and then increasing to $7000. Moving expenses of $7000 are covered. Equipment includes Siemens equipment with a pacs system, 64 slice MDCT with Leonardo 3D software, 1.5 T MRI, two ultrasounds, Digital mammography with CAD and digital fluoroscopy, and great voice recognition equipment. If desired, practice would like to get into the CT coronary angio work as well as pulmonary vein mapping. The practice is successfully growing their own nationwide teleradiology business and will likely permit you to work from home one to days a week. Mountain, ocean and lake sporting and recreational activities all within one hour drive.
